Korbin Spoor

Watch my story on News4Jax.com

When Korbin started coughing non-stop at the dinner table, her family thought she was joking. When the cough turned int a wheeze, they became concerned.

Korbin was seen at an urgent care center. The doctors there checked her out, but said there was nothing wrong and sent her home.

As the day progressed, Korbin got worst. She became fatigued and started to form dark circles under her eyes. She was taking short, shallow breaths.

Korbin was taken to the ER at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. As soon as the doctors saw her, they admitted her immediately. Koribin had Asthma, something her mother had never experienced.

Korbin was on oxygen for 4 days. Korbin’s family was educated on the treatment and handling of her asthma. Today Korbin is healthy and happy. And her family is thankful that Wolfson Children’s Hospital was there. If it wasn’t, Korbin might not be either.
