When Kyler was 3, he curled up and started to scream.
Kyler’s mother, Lisa, did what any mother would do. She took him to Wolfson Children’s Hospital ER. Over the next 2 weeks, Kyler was hospitalized 6 times. Eventually he was admitted for 3 days for a series of tests.
During this time, they were cared for by the loving staff of the hospital. Lisa remembers the kindness of the nurses and the comfort that their care gave her.
The tests did not yield any results, but for a time Kyler’s pain went away. The doctors at Wolfson Children’s Hospital continue to research the cause and continue to care for Kyler as only a second family can.
