I am a 46 year old Assistant Attorney General. I have been involved in running, biking and swimming since 1993. I have completed 43 ironmen (44 by the time of the ultra running) in less than 10 years and have run over 100 marathons. I have also run a 100K and maybe over 20 ultras.
I am so excited to be a part of this and to bring more attention to your program and hospital needs….and hopefully some dollars.
I am so honored to run on behalf of all of these kids and I cannot wait to meet them ALL!
I told Matthew yesterday as he and I ran the Gasp 5K that I was going to finish the ultra by running and walking. He told me I must run all the miles. After suggesting he come RUN ALL those miles with me, I told him I promised him I would run ALL of the miles on the loop that honors him…and I prayed it would not be the 11th b/c I would be most tired.
