A Pediatric Otolaryngologist & Craniofacial/ Skull Base Surgeon at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Dr. Saswata Roy sees the struggles that sick and injured children cope with day-after-day. When Paul came to him with the idea of running to give back, Saswata jumped at the idea.
"Paul and I have been great friends and I told him whatever he wanted to do in support of Luke and Wolfson, I'd be on board."
When asked about the difficulty of running an Ultra Marathon, Saswata's response has always been, "What we're doing is nothing compared to what these children go through. These children endure for months and years. What's a day of running in comparison?"
